We had an encouraging start for the Chapter as our Youth U18 Team was among the top 8 teams in the 2016 National Milo Cup competition. We also participated in the Singapore National Games, bowing out in the second round.

The Oldham basketball team comprises current school boys and their seniors whom they train with on Saturdays, plus other players from the basketball community who by word of mouth joined in the training. Although from different backgrounds, the players have blended in well with the seniors guiding the juniors along, and maintaining strong camaraderie.

Looking forward, the Chapter hopes to groom young leaders to take ownership of the club and to attract more players who share the same dreams and values. Our current base of 35 to 40 players is also meeting up for after court fellowships. We really hope that by joining the Chapter, they would benefit both in their stamina (and health) now and in their career later.

Meanwhile, we are building our depths to meet the challenges of the Division 2 National Men Open 2016 and the Inter-constituency Cup 2017, and at the same time exposing our players to more community competitions such as the CBL/ YBL and the CSC cups.
