2017 PAST vs PRESENT GAMES

Old Boys Triumph Again!

Past vs Present Games

This year’s Past vs Present Games continued to demonstrate growth by featuring a new sport, Basketball, which was played at ACS (International), a new venue. And for the first time, the event brought together the ACJC, ACS (International) and ACS (Barker Road) boys to compete against Oldham Club (Basketball).

Response from the Old Boys was overwhelming as many turned up early and ready for competition. Demonstrating experience over the exuberance of opponents, they triumphed in every sport, except for squash, to retain the Ang Peng Tiam Challenge trophy for another year. Sportingly, the Old Boys credited the popular ACS OBA caps for giving them the advantage by deflecting the blinding sun and February heat!

We would like to thank Mr Michael Thio for his contribution to beverages for this traditional event, ACJC, ACS (International) and ACS (Independent) for hosting and Oldham Club for helping in the organisation of this event where we can share lives and share the heritage that makes us all ONE ACS.
