123rd ACS Founder's Day

ACS (Barker Road)

ACS (Barker Road) celebrated its 123rd Founder’s Day on 27 February. The Guest-of-Honour for the day was Mr Sin Boon Ann, M.P. for Tampines G.R.C. and an old boy of the school. Also present was former Principal, Mr Ng Eng Chin, who made the special effort to attend the celebrations despite his busy schedule.

After the reception, Mr Sin, together with our guests and proud parents, proceeded to the Auditorium for a Thanksgiving Service, followed by the presentation of ACS Long Service Awards for members of staff and academic prizes for students who excelled in 2008. This year, in addition to the academic prizes, we are very fortunate to also present the Lee Hah Ing Scholarship Award to the top student of the GCE ‘N’ Level Examination.
