The 2018 edition Past vs Present Games on
February 24 started with dark skies that sent
the organisers scrambling to put together
wet weather contingencies. However,
thank God for answering the prayers of
many, the weather turned for the better
come the 9am start.
The event this year continued to see
strong participation from Old Boys from
all batches pitting their skills against the
present-day talents. And once again, the
Old Boys triumphed in all eight games
(Badminton, Basketball, Rugby, Soccer,
Squash, Tennis, Volleyball and Waterpolo)
to retain the Ang Peng Tiam Challenge
trophy for another year.
Despite the very
competitive nature of the event, the ACS
spirit was very much alive as the young
boys interacted with their seniors outside
of the competitive matches.
We would like to thank Mr
Michael Thio for his contribution of beverages,
ACJC, ACS (International) and ACS (Independent)
for hosting and Oldham Club for helping in the
organisation of this event where we can share
lives and the heritage that makes us all ONE
ACS.
We hope to see everyone at the next edition on
February 23 2019.
