The Guest-of-Honour at ACS (Barker Road)’s Founder’s Day Celebration was its Founding Principal, Mr Ng Eng Chin. In his address, Mr Ng commended the staff’s dedication to their calling which has brought the school to a higher plane, compared to the pioneering days when the school had just been founded as a School of Hope. He also exhorted the students to remember their Creator and their roots, for on this day of remembrance, it is fitting that we think about our reason for being here in ACS, which is to allow God to know us better and for us to know Him.

Following a Parade by the Uniformed Groups, awards and scholarships were presented to deserving students. Staff were later treated to a sumptuous lunch at the Tang Court Restaurant, Regional English Language Centre.
