The Class of 68/70's 40th Anniversary

40 years on ... and what a fabulous reunion!

It was quite a challenge but the Organising Committee did a most commendable job in rounding up 150 schoolmates including 13 teachers for the Class of 68/70’s 40th Anniversary Celebrations held at Traders Hotel on 15 February.

The occasion was indeed a joyous one as schoolmates and teachers caught up with each other. Nostalgia crept in when guest speakers Iris Fang and Cheo Chai Hong recalled the good old days in school; Alex Chan’s slide show of photos and memorabilia from way back also took everyone down memory lane.

When it came to entertainment, there was no shortage of in-house talents as many stepped up on stage to perform; even some of the teachers joined in! The hat was also passed around during dinner and a total of $8,500 collected was donated to the ACS OBA Teachers’ Welfare Fund.
