Leadership Change At ACS (International)

Mr Rob Burrough left ACS (International) at the end of December 2020, after completing 7½ years of faithful service. He served the school with great distinction and returned to New Zealand to take up a national role with the New Zealand Ministry of Education.

Mr Burrough joined the school in July 2013 at a critical time, where strong leadership and guidance was required. During his tenure, he grew the school on all fronts, with significant improvements in academic success. Through his leadership, ACS (International) is now the most soughtafter international school both in Singapore and Asia.

The Board is pleased to appoint Mr Gavin Kinch as the incoming Principal, with effect from January 1, 2021. Mr Kinch has been a Vice-Principal at the school for the past four years. He has acted as Acting Principal on many occasions, including during difficult times at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The promotion of a Vice-Principal helps the school maintain the strong traditions enjoyed by the school and ensures a seamless transition.
