The Integrity Award - In Memory of

Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan

Despite the challenging Covid-19 crisis, The ACS Foundation (ACSF) has been greatly blessed with the donations it has received in 2020.

ACSF has been asked to set up, oversee and disburse an annual cash gift to each of the ACS schools in Singapore, acknowledging and recognising one student who has displayed the highest levels of integrity in each calendar year. The cash gift is named ‘The Integrity Award – In Memory of Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan’, after the late Tan Sri (Dr) Tan Chin Tuan, who was a banker and noted philanthropist, and an Old Boy of ACS.

Starting from 2021, cash gifts of $1,500 will be given out yearly to each of the 6 schools. The schools, namely, ACS (Primary), ACS (Junior), ACS (Barker Road), ACS (Independent), ACS (International) and ACJC, will determine and recommend the most deserving candidate in their school to ACSF.
