LOCK WAI HANLock Wai Han, President

Wai Han (ACPS’79, ACS’83, ACJC’85) graduated from Cambridge University & Stanford Graduate School of Business. He spent 22 years in the Singapore Police Force and 2 years in the Ministry of Information, Communications & the Arts before he left for the private sector, where he held the posts of CEO CapitaMalls Asia (China), CEO Rowsley Ltd and CEO OKH Global Ltd.

 

DAVID TANDavid Tan, 1st Vice- President

David (ACJS’90, ACS’94, ACJC’96) is a Family Physician in a government polyclinic. A graduate from the medical school in NUS, he is also involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. David hopes to contribute to the ACSOBA Management Committee and see more of the younger ACSians connected through the various portals.

 

JOY-MARIE TOHJoy-Marie Toh, 2nd Vice-President

Joy-marie Toh (MGS’89, ACJC‘91) is a fifth generation ACSian with a keen interest in preserving the traditions and heritage of ACS. She was on the Executive Committee of the 15th Students’ Council in ACJC and active in the ACJC Drama Club. She currently serves on the management committees of the ACSOBA and the MGS Alumnae Association, the ACS (I) Board of Management and the Kampong Kapor Methodist Church Kindergarten Management Committee. Joy-marie was previously the General Manager of the ACS Foundation and an Executive Director at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in Hong Kong.

CHUA EU JINChua Yu-Jin, Honorary Secretary

Yu-Jin (ACJS’81, ACS’85) is a businessman running his own project development firm, Panther Capital, which focuses on property, hospitality, and education projects. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a computer engineering degree in 1993. Subsequently, he did his postgraduate studies at National University of Ireland and obtained a Master of Science (first class honours) in strategic marketing. Yu-Jin is a member of Wesley Methodist Church. He enjoys exploring outdoors on his Brompton bicycle and looking for food. Yu-Jin is married to Rany, who hails from South Korea.

GANGA JAYARAMGanga Jayaram, Assistant H onorary Secretary

Ganga (ACJC’89) is Head of Department, Outreach and Relations at ACJC. A second-generation ACSian, she was blessed with 12 years of education in Methodist schools and has taught A-level literature at ACJC for over 20 years. A recipient of the Commendation Medal at the 2010 National Day Awards, she hopes to continue inspiring young ACSians with a love for the school and to fly the ACS flag high for many years to come.

 

TANG KEE FEITang Kee Fei, Honorary Treasurer

Kee Fei (ACS’73) is a chartered management accountant. He has been actively involved in ACS rugby since 1976 and is also one of the founding members of the Oldham Club. He has been managing the ACS(P) rugby coaching panel from 2000 to present.

 

 

ADAM TANAdam Tan, Assistant Honorary Treasurer

Adam (ACJS’87, ACS’91, ACJC’93) is the CEO of Agrimax Pte Ltd. He started his career in Merrill Lynch before leaving to manage Plasticscommerce Pte Ltd. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Singapura Finance Ltd and is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA Singapore). Adam has actively volunteered at the Badminton Chapter of Oldham Club since 2013.

 

RAYSON SEOWRayson Seow, Committee Member

Rayson (ACS’75), a 3rd generation ACSian, is in Sports Ministry. He retired from his financial services practice after 26 years to follow his passion for sports evangelism. Being an avid footballer, most weekends are spent on the field. He organises outreach events through football for his church, the Sports Coalition Singapore and the Bible Society of Singapore. Rayson is married to Esther and they have a daughter and a son. He currently serves on the Board of Management of ACS (Independent).

 

WONG HENG YUWong Heng Yu, Committee Member

Heng Yu (ACJS’81, ACS’85, ACJC’87) is a third generation ACSian on both sides of his family. He was active in the Executive Committee of the ACJC Students Council and was part of the swimming team in ACJS, ACSS and ACJC. He graduated from Oxford University with degrees in Physiological Sciences and Medicine. He is currently a Gastroenterologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

 

JONATHAN YUENJonathan Yuen, Committee Member

Jonathan (ACJS’89, ACS’93, ACJC’95) is a Partner in Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP. As a debater, he has represented ACS, ACJC, NUS and Singapore at local and international tournaments. Jonathan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

 

JASON HOJason Ho, Committee Member

Jason (ACSP‘94, ACS (Barker Road)’98, ACJC’00) has always been passionate about discovering what’s right about people rather than pointing out what’s wrong with them. Starting from a deep interest in organisational positive psychology, he set out and became South- East Asia’s 1st Gallup-Certified StrengthsFinder Coach. He is the founder of Strengths School and conducts Strengths-based leadership and team-building workshops around Asia. Jason enjoys giving leadership coaching to the senior management of Fortune 500 companies. He also heads the creative ministry in his church and spends most of his free time bringing his 4 kids on adventures around Singapore.

PAUL THAMPaul Tham, Committee Member

Paul (ACSJ‘93), ACS (Independent)’97) is currently the CEO of Keppel Real Estate Investment Trust where he is in charge of real estate investments across Asia-Pacific. A holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Cornell University and a Masters in Business Administration from Singapore Management University, Paul has worked in asset management, management consulting, and as a civil engineer over the last 20 years.

MORGAN ZHOUMorgan Zhou, Co-opted Member Morgan (ACSJ‘93, ACS (Independent)‘97, ACJC‘99) holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. Prior to his appointment as Teaching Fellow in NIE, he was Vice Principal at ACS (Junior). He is also an active volunteer in the Boys’ Brigade 12J Singapore Company and serves as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Fairfield Methodist Church. Morgan is passionate about mentoring and keenly interested in strengthening the education of learners with diverse abilities.

 

TIMOTHY CHEWTimothy Chew, Co-opted member Timothy (ACS Pre-U Class of 62) is ACS through and through, from Primary and Secondary schools to Pre-University, and continuing to be of service to the Alma Mater. He has sat on various ACS boards, including the ACS Board of Governors, and is probably the ACS OBA Committee’s longest serving member. An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, he owns an insurance agency.

 

 

LEON SUWONDO SUSENO SUBURLeon Suwondo Suseno Subur, Co-opted Member Leon (ACSJ‘94, ACS (Barker Road)’98) is an Air Conditioning System Engineer for Carrier Singapore. Leon graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and gained experience working in the construction and HVAC industry. Leon is grateful to the ACS family and hopes to contribute to the ACS OBA. Leon would like to engage more alumni members to help answer the call to look out for fellow ACSians at various stages of life’s journey.

 

RAVIDRAN ALFREDSRavindran Alfreds, Co-opted Member Ravi (ACPS’93, ACS (Independent)’97, ACJC’99) is currently the Head of Government Relations and Public Affairs of a global non-profit organisation headquartered in Singapore. During his secondary school days, he was part of the Boys’ Brigade 12th Singapore Company, and a member of the Media Resource Team. He was also a member of the debate club in JC. Ravi worships at Wesley Methodist Church together with his family. He is married with a daughter and son.

 

 

LEE SOO CHYELee Soo Chye, Co-opted Member

Soo Chye (ACPS’76, ACS‘80) is a senior partner in Wee Swee Teow LPP, one of the oldest law firms in Singapore. A first generation ACSian, he has been actively involved in the ACS(P) parent support group when his boys were in school there. He also serves in the Barker Road Methodist Church. Like many before him, Soo Chye has been richly blessed by ACS. He hopes to contribute not only to the ACS family but also beyond, reflecting the ACS spirit of blessing others. He also currently sits on the boards/councils of various non-profit entities.
