The ACS Connection

SEA Games LogoThe recent 28th South East Asian (SEA) Games 2015 hosted by Singapore was without doubt a huge success. Kudos to the officials, performers and thousands of volunteers for staging such a memorable event, and congratulations to the athletes who amassed the record haul of 84 Golds, 73 Silvers and 102 Bronzes for Singapore!

The part the ACS family played in the Games is significant. To start with, several prominent ACSians were responsible for the planning and successful execution of the 2015 SEA Games which many believe is the best SEA Games ever. Richard Seow, Chairman of the ACS Board of Governors and Chairman of Sport Singapore, was a member of the Games Steering Committee while Lim Teck Yin headed the Singapore SEA Games Organising Committee as Chairman. The President of the SEA Games Federation, Manpower Minister Tan Chuan Jin, is also an ACSian.

NilaIn this report, we pay tribute the ACSians who rose to the occasion in their respective sport at the Games through a montage of photographs and a table of medals that they won. Also featured are snippets of ACSian participants and volunteers sharing their experiences and a roundup of SEA Games related activities organised by the schools. These images speak volumes for the inimitable ACS Spirit and endeavours to succeed.
