ACS OBA NEWS

Chandra Mohan does ACS Proud!

In the previous issue of the ACS Echo, we paid tribute to three ACS Old Boys who were conferred 2011 National Day Awards. At the time of publishing, we were not aware that another outstanding ACSian, Mr Chandra Mohan, was also recognised for his dedicated services and contributions to Singapore.

Mr Mohan, a partner in the law firm, Rajah & Tann LLP, was awarded the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Medal) for his commendable community services. Since 2002, he has been actively involved in the North West Community Council (NWCDC) where he played a major role in raising funds for needy residents and chaired various committees including the Organising Committee for the NWCDC Food Aid Fund in 2010 and 2011.

A true blue ACSian, Mr Mohan hailed from ACPS (1974), ACS (1978) and ACJC (1980). He has been a member of the ACS OBA since 1991, holding the position of Honorary Secretary from 1995 to 2005 and from 2007 to date. He also serves on the ACS Board of Governors and the Board of ACS (International).

Congratulations, Mr Mohan! You have done ACS proud!
